Course Contents: This course focuses on the theory and principles of radiation and their application to radiography. Subjects included in this course include an introduction to Industrial Radiography Testing Radiation Sources Properties and production of X and gamma rays Radiographic techniques Radiographic film-film processing radiographic image quality Types of films Film Characteristics Geometric Unsharpness Sensitivity IQIs Application to Radiography Radiation Safety Identification of weld defects and their components; viewing conditions, identification of radiographs; spurious indications and film artifacts; appreciation of radiographic principles and parameters of interpretation; standards for radiographic practice; interpretation tutorial; acceptance criteria codes and standards, procedures, and written practices- reporting

This course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105).
Radiographic Testing theory classes will be organized through online and/or offline and hand-on practical sections will be arranged nearest feasible NDT test center.
