ASNT RTFI Level II Course Training and certification :

Course Contents: This course focuses on the theory and principles of radiation and their application to radiography. This course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105).

Radiographic Testing theory classes will be organized through online and/or offline and hand-on practical sections will be arranged nearest feasible NDT test center.

 Course Objectives: The course objectives are as below:

  • To explain the basic theory of X – and gamma radiography
  • To identify the suitability of the RT technique for the given materials
  • To select film type and energy levels, select and prepare techniques for a given specimen
  • To interpret and analyze the test result and generate the test result.
  • To evaluate radiographic sensitivity
  • To recognize and differentiate between film artifacts and defect indicators
  • To be familiar with codes, standards, and specifications for RT to evaluate the results of the tests
  • To aware of the working knowledge of basic radiation safety
