This course focuses on the theory and principles of ultrasound – Properties of sound – Modes of Propagation – Behavior of sound in a material – Snell’s Law Mode Conversion – Ultrasonic Equipment's – Probes – Components of ultrasonic flaw detector (UFD) – Calibration Block, Reference block – Transfer Correction – Calibration of Equipment's – Beam spread, Attenuation – Sensitivity setting – Thickness Measurement and lamination checks – UT Methods – Ultrasonic Equipment Checks – Ultrasonic Testing of welds scanning  – Flaw Sizing Methods – Immersion, PAUT, TOFD and advancements – Scan Representations – Scanning Pattern, Interpretation & Evaluation – Acceptance Criteria – Echo Dynamic Pattern & Reporting – Welding Processes and Weld defects – Number of practical exercises on test specimens containing simulated flaws.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING LEVEL II

ASNT MT Level II Course Training and certification:

Course Contents: This course focuses on the introduction of Magnetic Particle Testing – Properties of magnetic fields – Principles of magnetism; magnetic fields; induction; permeability and reluctance; magnetization; lines of force, inspection equipment – equipment calibration – methods of testing; defect detection and evaluation –  interpretation of indications – demagnetization – practical exercises; methods of assessing sensitivity – instruction writing – Product technology – Extensive practical element

This course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105).

DYE PENETRANT TESTING LEVEL II

VISUAL TESTING LEVEL II

Light Intensity Measurements, evaluating discontinuities in Cast, Rolled, Forged, Welded and inspection of engineering components

RADIOGRAPHY TESTING FILM INTERPRETATION LEVEL II

ASNT RTFI Level II Course Training and certification :

Course Contents: This course focuses on the theory and principles of radiation and their application to radiography.
